Bill Bennett, faux conservative, former Drug Czar and ironically the author of "The Book of Virtues" has called for the abortion of every black child in an effort to reduce crime in America.

In his radio show, Bennett said that if "you wanted to reduce crimeif that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down".

It's a tough job, Bennett conceded. Bennett said that aborting all African-American babies "would be an impossible ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do", then added, "but the crime rate would go down".

Bennett was also Reagan's chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities from 1981-1985 and Secretary of Education from 1985-1988. From 1989-1990, he served as "Drug Czar" in the administration of the elder Bush. So hypocrisy is evidently second nature to him.
