"Those 'guards' came from a small outfit known as Blue Mountain Security. This was mainly a travel company catering to adventurous tourists until the 'liberation' of Libya, when they managed to get around Libyan regulations on foreign security providers by partnering up with a 'local' security organization.
"Except it wasn't at all local: the Eclipse Group is a shadowy organization run by Iran-Contra co-conspirator and neocon loony Duane C. 'Dewey' Clarridge, who boasts of running his own 'private' CIA. It was this group, which just happened to have a license to operate in Libya, that gave Blue Mountain access to the Libyan security market."
Dewey Clarridge was never really on the inside, but he created enough waves -- and enough problems -- that he had to go through the normal procedure – like I did -- in a way. You get charged with some bogus whatever in order to discredit you.
It should be remembered that the entire so-called Iran Contra Affair was committed by what could be characterized as a 'private CIA,' meaning that the Bushonian Cabal used government employees in extra-legal covert activities. And that's what came out of Iran-Contra. It was the first time a government agency got privatized.
