International man of mystery and world class con-man Maurice Strong, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, has deftly sidestepped the "UN Oil-for-Food" kickback, fraud and bribery scandal, and moved on to greener pastures.
Strong, whose CV contains an impossible number of titles, positions and "achievements," is the globetrotting Canadian billionaire, who was a former senior advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan and former senior advisor to the President of the World Bank.
At one time or another, Strong was also the head of Power Corporation of Canada, Ontario Hydro, and Petro-Canada, as well as director of former Soviet dictator Mikhail Gorbachev's World Economic Forum Foundation, former Chairman of the World Resources Institute and Chairman of the Earth Council.
This Maurice Strong is one busy old guy. Meanwhile, the UN Whitewash Report of the UN Oil-for-Food scandal is a door-stopper at 800 pages, authorized by the Independent Inquiry Committee, headed by former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker.
