It sounds like a bad joke -- but what if it's true?
A speedball is a combination of heroin and cocaine that supposedly killed comic-actor John Belushi, when Belushi, actor Robert DeNiro and Robin Williams were partying at the Chateau Marmont in 1982.
It was reported that Robin Williams signed into the Hazelden "Rehab" Center in Minnesota where he was an inpatient for most of July 2014.
Hazelden touts itself as "a part of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation,[which] helps individuals, families, and communities struggling with alcohol abuse, substance abuse, and drug addiction transform their lives."
Then it was revealed that Robin Williams was suffering from Parkinson's Disease...
But what was the pharma-cocktail that Williams' attending physician at Hazelden prescribed to him? Was it Sinemet(carbidopa-levodopa), a Merck pharmaceutical "product"?
Sinemet Side Effects Center reports -- "Sinemet(carbidopa-levodopa) is used to treat Parkinson symptoms such as muscle stiffness, tremors, spasms, and poor muscle control.
