Is failed hedge fund manager Julian "I Don't Really Understand the Markets" Robertson mentally competent to file yet another frivolous lawsuit?
After all he sued Business Week magazine for $1 billion because it was "a nice round number," then settled out of court with no money changing hands.
Discovery ordered by Federal Judge Loretta Preska may answer this question, as well as whether the 73-year old Robertson, who used to manage Tiger Management LLC and who filed suit against Al Martin Raw.com and Conspiracy Planet.com, really understands the import of this legal action, or whether it is an abuse of process and act of champerty by his attorney Richard Marooney of the King & Spalding law firm.
Robertson's mental health is certainly at issue, especially in filing this suit against Uri "You'd Have To Be Crazy To Sue Me" Dowbenko, publisher of Conspiracy Planet and other alternative media websites
"DOCUMENT REQUEST NO. 3 All documents authenticating Julian Robertsonís most recent medical/ physical exam records, as well as mental health exam (mental component) certifying his ability to understand the lawsuit undertaken against defendants, as well as a list of all prescribed medications attributable to plaintiff during the last 3 years.
